The World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have emphasized the strain
that the exponentially growing number of cases will put on our healthcare system and stressed the need for
preventative measures. Proper protective equipment and medical supplies are crucial to effectively “flattening the curve”
and limiting disease transmission. Many hospitals and medical centers have an acute need for personal protective equipment
(PPE), including surgical masks, face shields, N95s, sanitizers, gloves, safety gowns, and transport media. These hospitals
are actively reaching out for our assistance in getting through this time of great need. We at Illumony, founded by a group
of TJ students to serve underprivileged communities, recognize the growing scarcity of such life-saving equipment. By
contacting foreign manufacturers and redistributing medical supplies, we strive to assist local hospitals in their efforts
against the coronavirus and hope to make our community a safer place for all. Please join us, and many others, in supporting
our community by donating at contact.illumony@gmail.com on PayPal.
Our team members are currently tutoring students to help raise money for hospitals in need.
